Had not expected the great city tour in addition to the lovely bakeries! Nice small group experience, interesting assortment of establishments visited, and well planned outing!
Nikesh was super friendly and the tour was fun and engaging. It was raining and you’d imagine that could potentially dampen a walking tour such as this, but we still had a fantastic time. His intimate knowledge of the baking techniques of each Boulangerie and their specialities helped to no end. Also really insightful and interesting historical facts were shared about the city itself throughout. You’d be silly to give this tour a miss!!
I have to be honest... I almost cancelled this booking because I wasn’t sure that it would be worth the price. I was wrong! I’m so glad we did this! My husband and I got to meet new people, taste the most amazing pastries, see places we wouldn’t have seen otherwise, and learned a GREAT deal about the city! You won’t be disappointed.
Most definitely a better way to see and experience a new city than the mass tourist options or large group guided tours. Interesting neighbourhoods and great boulangeries! Thank you Nikesh!
Very unique experience. Forget the mainstream wine tours, Nikesh will guide you through various Bordeaux neighbourhoods, explaning their history and sharing interesting facts along the way as you listen with a tasty piece of pastry in your hand (or mouth). Each of the boulangeries is a bit different and the whole experience feels very authentic. Nikesh is a relaxed guide who will chat with you during the tour, if you feel like it.
This was the best airbnb experience we have ever had. Nikesh selected historical places and delivered stories that give you an excellent sense of Bordeaux history. He also intertwined modern Bordeaux and its people and places. He researched over 35 bakeries to find the best. It was magnificent! Many thanks for this wonderful experience Nikesh!
